I'm a designer based in the city of Haarlem, The Netherlands. My studio is located in a warehouse where former shipping containers are turned into offices to create a dynamic and stimulating working environment. My main activities include branding development and advice, logo creation, the design and art direction of books and magazines.
As a professional graphic designer I am constantly aware of the need to produce original work that often extends the scope of the clients brief. Ideas are everything. I am particularly interested in problems relating to ordering information, creating design solutions that are both clear and visually stimulating. Whether it’s a catalogue/magazine, an exhibition stand or a website introducing your new brand, I can help you to get your message across in a unique manner.
In 2004 I graduating from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague where I studied Typographic and Graphic Design after which I founded my own design company. I started freelancing for Sanoma Media, where I fell in love with making magazines. I’ve worked on vtwonen, VIVA, Marie Claire, and various commercially driven magazines both as art director and designer. I have also created many logo’s and other visual branding material for start-ups and businesses.
With my increasing knowledge of front end development combined with my experience of visual identity creation I'll soon have the possibility to offer an even more complete package. Want to know more? Get in touch.
